The boss of a farm shop on a stretch of the A84 where campaigners are calling for improved safety has detailed how a car flipped upside down into a nearby field as their staff rushed to help shocked passengers. ‌

Activists in Blairdrummond have called on Transport Scotland to take urgent action following a series of crashes on the route over the summer. ‌

Five accidents occurred on the stretch in less than a month. ‌

Local concerns have been raised regarding the road from Blair Drummond Safari Park to the junction of the A873, at the Blair Drummond Smiddy Farm Shop.
