I thought the survey released during the Downtown Tulsa Partnership’s annual meeting felt about right.
As Michael Dekker reports on today’s front page , nearly six out of 10 people who work, live and visit downtown think it remains as safe as or safer than it was last year.
I have worked downtown for more than two decades and lived a block from my office for five of those years. I’ve always felt safe, but I understand those who wouldn’t feel that way.
As a leader of a downtown business that has been on the same block for more than 100 years, I appreciate all the work that is being done in the name of safety. I enjoyed giving a tour of our facilities recently to two Tulsa police officers who dropped by. They got to know us better, and I go
