Monroe County Community College , 1555 S. Raisinville Road, Monroe, will host an educational meeting about bees and pollinators on Sept. 16. The event will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. in the administration building cafeteria and is free to the public, according to a community announcement.

The meeting aims to educate attendees about the importance of native bees in pollination. Participants will also have the opportunity to tour the MCCC Student Ag Farm honey bee hive after the presentation.
