AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Charges have been dropped against a teenager in connection with a shooting that killed a 14-year-old last month , according to the suspect’s defense attorney.
Defense attorney Keith Johnson said that the murder charge against 16-year-old Vincent Hakim Carter was dropped after a preliminary hearing Thursday.
Now the high school football player will be home in time for his 17th birthday, according to Johnson.
