A dangerous driver who put lives at risk by leading police on three pursuits in two days has been charged with almost 30 offences.
Police say a 39-year-old man failed to stop for police on three occasions, across Monday and Tuesday, while driving through suburbs including East Victoria Park, Dianella and Shenton Park.
A police spokesman said officers had to terminate all three pursuits over public safety concerns due to the “reckless manner of driving”.
It wasn’t until 7.15pm on Tuesday that police managed to track down the alleged culprit — with his arrest outside a Maylands apartment complex captured on bodycam footage.
The police air wing helped track the man’s red sedan to the units before a pair of officers jumped from a second story of the complex to arrest him.
