Forsyth County Board of Commissioners approved Thursday an economic-incentive package for ReAgent Chemical Services , a United Kingdom industrial chemicals manufacturer.
Family owned ReAgent, founded in 1977, is based in Cheshire. It specializes in manufacturing, packaging and blending chemical products under its own brand and for contract manufacturing.
The manufacturer had been identified as “Project Touchdown” by the board and Winston-Salem City Council.
ReAgent has pledged to create 30 full-time jobs and spend $5.63 million on capital investments, both over five years.
Commissioners approved a performance-based incentives request for up to $53,962.
