A Philadelphia man on parole is again behind bars, charged with receiving stolen property, firearms violations and other charges after a license plate reader alerted police to his presence.

Brandon K. Hair, 36, of the 6000 block of Hegerman Street was arrested by Prospect Park police early Thursday.

According to the criminal complaint filed by Officer Samuel Willis:

Willis was alerted about 1:15 a.m. Thursday by an automated license plate reader that there was a stolen vehicle traveling north on Lincoln Avenue from Chester Pike.

The vehicle was reported to be a red Ford Taurus with Pennsylvania tags.

Willis drove along Lincoln Avenue and located the vehicle, which he confirmed was reported stolen, had pulled into the gas pumps at the Wawa on MacDade Boulevard.
