Sun Valley Community School Cutthroats girls soccer player Rylee Miller, a junior, was “knocking on the door” of scoring a goal for the entire game against the Buhl Indians on Tuesday.
“She had so many great shots in the first half,” said Cutthroats Head Coach Kelly Feldman.
Miller found the back of the net in the 60th minute and added a second goal late as the Cutthroats defeated the Indians 3-0 in Idaho Class 4A High Desert Conference action at Browning Field in Sun Valley.
“You could feel it coming,” Feldman said. “We had so many opportunities. It was great it was Rylee [who scored] because she wanted it so badly. She’s such a talented player and hasn’t quite found her form this season, so it was great for her to hit that and make that difference to be the one that changed the flow o
