A large shadfly play structure is among the suggestions being considered for the next phase of waterfront development.
The City of North Bay held an online public consultation to ask the community what they would like to see occupy a large open space behind the North Bay Museum.

Albert Viljoen, Senior Associate, Landscape Architect, with Brook McIlroy, led the hour-long session, said as of Tuesday, there were more than 1,000 people who had filled out the survey.
Viljoen told the online attendees that the project is in its early stages.
“Right now, we’re trying to get the community’s feedback on what will make it a meaningful place? We need to make sure it’s something that resonates with the public.”
