The Blind River Trappers Council (BRTC) recently made donations to both Algoma Manor in Thessalon and Golden Birches in Blind River.
The BRTC and its members try to support our local communities by donating when we can to local events or entities that support residents both young and old.

On Aug. 13, BRTC director and trapper, Daryle Dube presented Sheila Nyman, chair of the Golden Birches Family Council with $1,000 to support the residents of the long-term care facility in Blind River.
On Aug. 14, BRTC president, Jamie Macfarlane presented Danielle Mercer, director of care and Jennifer Fogal, director of health services and finance with $1,000 to support their residents as well.
