SAN ANTONIO — Whataburger stepped up to make a difference for the victims of flooding in the Texas Hill Country.
They raised more than $1.5M for the victims through their "Cups that Care" collectible cups that were available at Whataburger.
Since launching the "Cups that Care" campaign, Whataburger says they've sold hundreds of thousands cups.
Guests across 17 states came together from July 9 through September 8 and purchased the limited-edition $2 commemorative cups, with every cup helping to benefit relief efforts.
Whataburger will announce on Tuesday, September 16, how these funds are being distributed to the nine nonprofit organizations providing disaster response, mental health care, and long-term rebuilding support.
