DALLAS — The newest DART train connecting Plano to DFW Airport will officially open this month after years of construction.
The 26-mile DART Silver Line connecting Plano, Richardson, Dallas, Addison, Carrollton, Coppell, and Grapevine to DFW Airport will open Oct. 25 after years of construction. It will run from 4 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily, every 30 minutes during weekday peak hours and every 60 minutes off-peak hours and on weekends
Our content partners at the Dallas Business Journal report construction on the nearly $2.1 billion DART Silver line started in 2021 , and the line was initially set to deliver by March 2023 — but pandemic-related supply chain issues caused the project to be delayed.
