PITTSBURGH —
Marc-Andre Fleury is returning to the ice with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The beloved goalie spent 13 seasons with the black and gold, helping the team win three Stanley Cups. In 2017, Fleury was picked by Vegas in the expansion draft then moved to the Minnesota Wild, where he retired last season.
The Penguins said they have signed the goaltender to a 'professional tryout contract.'
The 40-year-old will be joining the team for practice on Sept. 26 at 12 p.m. then suit up to play in parts of the exhibition game against Columbus on Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. at PPG Paints Arena.
