Planned road closures will begin Monday, Sept. 15, on 1st Avenue North and 8th Street North in Jamestown due to the pedestrian bridge replacement project at Nickeus Park, according to the city engineer's office.

The road closures will be on 1st Avenue North from 7th to 8th Street Northwest and on 8th Street North From 2nd Avenue Northwest to 2nd Avenue Northeast.

The road closures will continue for about three months or until the work is complete.

Vehicles should use alternate routes if possible.
