A man has been arrested after on suspicion of lots of shop thefts across Dudley and Sandwell .

The 44-year-old man from Rowley Regis is in custody after £1,300 worth of items were taken in 25 shop thefts in Rowley Regis and Halesowen.

The Sandwell South policing team has its own dedicated retail crime team that identify prolific offenders and bring them to justice.

West Midlands Police said: "A man has been arrested on suspicion of dozens of shop thefts across Dudley and Sandwell.

"The 44-year-old man from Rowley Regis has been arrested after more than 25 shop thefts in Rowley Regis and Halesowen.
