The suspect accused of killing a father of three during a dispute over a scooter and graffiti in Shrewsbury late last month was ordered held without bail on a murder charge during a brief arraignment Friday morning.

Charges against Snehal A. Srivastava, 26, were upgraded to murder on Sept. 3 , just days after the fatal confrontation on Aug. 28. Srivastava, who goes by the name Sasha and uses she/her pronouns, is also charged with armed assault with intent to murder and two counts of carrying a firearm without a license.

Srivastava was arraigned on those charges in late August. At a detention hearing on that case Friday, a Westborough District Court judge set $10,000 bail for Srivastava.
