Jerry “The King” Lawler has canceled several upcoming appearances due to a recent health scare, according to reports that indicated the WWE legend had a stroke.

The incident unfolded Friday at Lawler’s home in Fort Myers, Florida, his caregiver told Memphis FOX13 .

Lawler, 75, has since been released from the hospital and can walk and talk, but the stroke effected his right side and partially effected his vision, according to the caregiver, who TMZ reported to be Lawler’s ex-wife.

This weekend’s HorrorHound convention in Cincinnati will be the first of several upcoming events he’ll miss, as he plans to take the rest of the month off to heal, according to the event’s Facebook page and other reports.
