CRESTON, Iowa (KCRG) - A second Iowa teacher has been placed on administrative leave for comments made about the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

Creston School District issued a statement saying it was “carefully reviewing the situation” and that the employee had been placed on administrative leave.

Screenshots circulating on social media show someone calling Kirk a “terrible human being” and adding “I do not wish death upon anyone but he him not being here is a blessing.” (sic)

An Oskaloosa teacher is also on administrative leave for comments regarding Kirk’s assassination with the school board meeting next week to consider termination.

It is part of a spate of firings or other disciplinary actions taken over social media comments regarding Kirk’s killing.
