KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A Kansas City, Kansas, man is charged with a pair of felonies in Jackson County after a shooting at a business.
Probable cause documents filed Thursday in Jackson County revealed that 20-year-old Martez Watson is charged with felonies for first-degree assault and armed criminal action.
Watson is accused of shooting a man in the head outside a business on June 29, 2025, just after 6:30 p.m.
A witness told police he and the eventual victim went to a business to get food. The witness said he stayed in the parking lot while the victim went into the store to pick up his order. The witness then heard the sound of a gunshot and observed two suspects running to a red Chevy Malibu.
