Local transportation leaders will gather next month to discuss the future and economics of logistics in an ever-changing technological world.

Presented by the Maritime Alliance, a maritime industry advocacy group, the fourth annual On the Horizon breakfast will be held Oct. 9 at the Hotel Haya in Ybor City.

Topics this year will include the economics of transportation and logistics in the Tampa Bay region. Panelists include Tampa International Airport President and CEO Michael Stephens , Florida Department of Transportation District 7 Secretary Justin Hall and CSX Florida Zone Superintendent and senior Port Tampa Bay representative Tony Ferrera .
