A driver was hurt after losing control of a vehicle early Friday during a chase with law enforcement that spanned two Lehigh County towns, state police said.

Trooper Nathan Branosky, public information officer with Pennsylvania State Police’s Troop M, said the pursuit began when a trooper attempted to stop the driver around 2:40 a.m. in Hanover Township, Lehigh County.

The driver, however, allegedly kept going in a 2018 Nissan Rogue despite the trooper activating emergency lights and sirens. Police followed the Nissan south on Airport Road and onto North Irving Street in Allentown.

The driver then lost control, crashed and overturned on two residential properties in the 800 block of North Irving Street, state police said.
