DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Police are investigating what led to a man and his dog getting shot Thursday night in east Durham just off of Miami Boulevard.
According to the Durham Police Department, officers were notified around 11 p.m. of a gunshot wound victim on the 700 block of Brye Street, which is in the vicinity of Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Upon arrival, officers said they found a man as well as a dog with a gunshot wound. Officers said emergency crews treated the man at the scene for a non-life-threatening injury.
