Attempted robbery: Cedar Road

At 9:05 a.m. Sept. 4, police were dispatched on a report of a possible robbery at the Shell gas station at 12404 Cedar Road.

The male caller was the would-be victim. He told police that he walked into the gas station to pay for gas, but forgot in his car his bank card. He walked back to his vehicle and was approached by a man he had earlier seen talking to people across the street as he had pulled his car into the gas station lot.

The approaching male, who wore an orange hooded sweatshirt, told the man, “Give me your money.”

The man did not hear the suspect and told him to repeat what he had said. The suspect again said, “Give me your money,” and reached toward his waistband.
