SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - The Board of Directors for the Sioux City Community School District is holding a special meeting that’s expected to be a closed session.

The agenda posted online shows the board has its meeting set for 4 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 15. The meeting was moved from its originally scheduled time on Friday, Sept. 12. The single item on the agenda is a closed session to discuss an unnamed employee’s “professional competency.”

“RECOMMENDAITON: That the Board of Directors go into a closed session pursuant to Iowa Code Section 21.5(1)(i) to evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose appointment, hiring, performance or discharge is being considered when necessary to prevent needless and irreparable injury to the individual’s reputation and that individual requests
