SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Friday, Sept. 12, marks the start of this year’s “Mighty Mo Run,” four races of various lengths taking place across three days along the Sioux City Riverfront.

It all begins with a 5K run along the riverfront Friday night, with the start time at 6:30 p.m.

Then on Saturday is the 10K run, and also the kids’ run for children 12 and under. That all starts at 7:30 a.m.

Finally, Sunday features the 13.1-mile half-marathon, which gets underway at 7 a.m.

The “Stooge Award” is up for grabs for running for all three days.

The start and end of the races are the Seaboard Triumph Foods Expo Center in Sioux City. Participants head south before making a lap back to the center.

Friday night has some special rules, where people can use rollerblades, bikes, strollers or bring pets
