A modern Chinese restaurant is closing after five years in East Colfax Avenue’s Bluebird District, its chef and owner said Friday.

Christopher Lin, who opened Q House in May 2018, declined to discuss the reason for the closure, but said he’d release a statement later today.

In recommending the restaurant in 2023 and 2024, the Michelin Guide wrote, “Wood floors, exposed ducts and garage-style doors keep things casual at Q House, where eager diners dig in to family-style dishes. (Lin) shares his Taiwanese heritage on this broad Chinese menu with modern Sichuan leanings. Pick and choose from small and large dishes, all designed for sharing.
