KECHI, Kan. (KAKE) - Police say a woman in her 40s is dead and a man is injured after a speeding pickup truck crashed in Kechi early Friday morning.

The crash happened around 4:45 a.m. in the 300 block of South Oliver, just south of 61st Street North. Police Chief Braden Moore said the pickup was heading north at an excessive speed when it left the roadway to the east, struck two utility poles and rolled onto its top.
