LINCOLN, Maine (WABI) - School officials are reviewing comments allegedly made by an RSU 67 employee in Lincoln.
The Lincoln Police Department says they were made aware of the comments this morning and learned some upset parents planned to go to the school
They say additional concerns were brought to their attention at the school, but after reviewing the incident, they determined the situation did not require the police to be involved.
In a statement posted by Superintendent Chris Downing, he says the matter is being actively reviewed, and the next steps are being carefully considered.
Downing says they have no indication of any safety concerns, and the administration does not condone violence of any type.
