MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — A man has learned his fate after being convicted of trafficking drugs in the East Valley.
Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes announced Friday that Calvin Coleman was sentenced to 15.75 years in prison on several charges related to drug trafficking.
Coleman was indicted in December 2023 after officers found 4.8 pounds of fentanyl inside a package that was being shipped to Mesa. Officers identified Coleman as being the shipper and receiver of the package.
Agents then searched Coleman’s home and found multiple guns, more fentanyl pills, several prescription drugs, cocaine and a scale, Mayes said.
Investigators on the case were able to get video from Coleman’s home that showed him dealing drugs and illegally having several weapons, Mayes added, including an AR rifle
