CAPE VINCENT, N.Y. (WWTI) – ABC 50 is back with another edition of Feed the Farmer presented by Burrville Power Equipment.

Join us as we visit the Cape Vincent Community Garden that’s run by the Cape Vincent Improvement League.

The garden has around 20 to 25 active volunteers and grows a number of items such as potatoes, onions, peppers, Swiss chard, tomatoes, pumpkins and more.

“Our community garden is one of the gems of this community,” Cape Vincent Improvement League President Christine Stark said. “It is run by the improvement league. It’s a fairly robust group of volunteers.”

The garden has a number of volunteers that come by regularly to make sure the food keeps growing.
