Lewis Capaldi has been surprised ahead of his Glasgow homecoming gig with a “one-of-a-kind” piece of Irn-Bru memorabilia.

The Glasgow-born singer is returning for his first performances in the city this weekend (September 13 and 14) after taking a two-year hiatus. The shows sold out within seconds.

Capaldi , who owns a luxury pad in East Renfrewshire, has been spotted visiting venues across the city in recent weeks. He was spotted at popular Italian Caffè Parma on Hyndland Road in the west end last month.

Earlier that week, Capaldi dropped into the Duke Bar on Duke Street, leaving punters a little starstruck .

On Wednesday (September 10), Capaldi brought his sold-out tour to Aberdeen, returning to a Scottish stage for the first time since his two-year break.
