BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A road project in Warren County begins Monday.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says a project to improve safety at the intersection of Kentucky 234 Johnny Webb Boulevard and Kentucky 880 Lovers Lane in Warren County begins on Monday, Sept. 15.

Drivers should expect lane closures during nighttime hours.

Officials say the expansion of the turn lanes will allow more traffic to pass through the turn area.

Transportation officials say most of the work is expected to be done between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. The bulk of the project is expected to be completed by late November.

Drivers are encouraged to use caution when traveling through this area.
