TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The reward for information regarding the person behind a shooting that occurred Thursday has increased, after one person was left dead and five others were injured.

Shortly before 1 a.m., officers with the Tampa Police Department responded to the 6000 block of Woodville Street regarding a shooting that resulted in the death of a 17-year-old.

According to the Tampa Police Department, five other men between the ages of 19 and 22 were injured as well. Detectives believe this incident was a targeted act due to a prior dispute.

In addition to the reward offered by Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay, a sum of up to $4,500 is available through the Florida Crime Stoppers in partnership with the Florida Office of the Attorney General for anyone who has information that can lead to
