SAGINAW, MI — Dr. Tarek Taha, an orthopedic surgeon, was named the 2025 recipient of the Legacy of Care Award by the MyMichigan Medical Center Saginaw Foundation.

The award, formerly known as the Spirit of St. Vincent Award, recognizes physicians who have provided long and noteworthy service to the mid-Michigan region, organizers said.

Taha will be honored at the 31st Annual Cornette Ball on Saturday, Nov. 22, at Horizons Conference Center in Saginaw Township.

Since 2013, Taha has provided orthopedic care to thousands of patients throughout the region. As an orthopedic traumatologist with specialized training, he focuses on managing complex upper and lower extremity trauma and is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries and disorders.
