Current Mayor of the Town of Stevensville Bob Michalson will be running for re-election in the upcoming Nov. 4 ballot.

Michalson cited his experience working in various parts of Stevensville’s government and said his main focus if reelected would be improving town infrastructure.

“I put in to be the mayor of Stevensville again because I think I have a good grasp of what’s going on with local government in Stevensville,” Michalson said. “I’ve been on the town council since 2015, served on every board and been the mayor since December of 2023.”

Michalson’s three priorities are infrastructure improvement, water and sewer systems and sustainable growth. He said Stevensville’s aging infrastructure was a prevalent issue for the community and brought up backlash he and the town council receive
