Truth is, the star rookie for the New York Atlas barely played field lacrosse growing up. Which makes the story of how he got here so absolutely unlikely.
The 24-year-old Hamiltonian has played the game since he was young. Box lacrosse, mostly. On an ice-free hockey rink, rather than outdoors on a giant field.
“The field game in Canada wasn’t as big when I was younger,” he says.
