Lime Ridge Mall reopened Friday afternoon after closing due to a water main break earlier in the day.
“Thank you for your patience and understanding while we worked through the closure,” the Mountain mall said in a social media post around 3 p.m.
The mall announced on social media Friday morning that it was closed because of a water main break.
According to the City of Hamilton, the water main that broke was a private pipeline, not public.
This week saw multiple water main breaks in the city, including on Monday when water engulfed Grace Avenue after a century-old pipeline erupted near Woodward Avenue, leaving roads and homes flooded.
On Thursday night, the city responded to a water main break on James Street South near Bold Street.
