JUNEAU, Wis. -- A Fall River man convicted of stabbing a girl before running her over with a car in 2022 was sentenced Friday to 13 years in prison.
Dylan Lenz, 20, pleaded no contest in June to attempted first-degree intentional homicide. Charges of aggravated battery, first-degree reckless injury, hit-and-run and battery were dismissed but read in.
Prosecutors said Lenz confessed to stabbing a girl with a box cutter while the two were in his vehicle in a Walmart parking lot. After she got out to the vehicle to run away, he ran over her then put the vehicle in reverse and hit her again.
Both Lenz and the girl were 17 years old at the time. He told police that he didn't know the girl's name but that they had met through an app.
