MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - A man convicted of stabbing and running over a teen girl in 2022 was sentenced on Friday, Dodge County court records show.

Dylan Lenz, 20, will serve 13 years in prison, followed by 15 years of extended supervision.

Lenz pleaded no contest to attempted first-degree intentional homicide by use of a dangerous weapon in June and was found guilty.

Charges of aggravated battery, first-degree reckless injury, hit-and-run causing great bodily harm and misdemeanor battery were all dismissed.

The criminal complaint alleged Lenz, who was 17 years old during the October 2022 stabbing and crash, told a police officer that he attacked the victim with a box cutter and that after he let her go, he chose to hit her multiple times with his car.
