VETERAN, N.Y. (WETM) — A Millport man was arrested on Tuesday after troopers said he was involved in a sexual relationship with a young victim.

Robert J. Dunn, 48, was arrested on Tuesday, Sept. 9, on the following charges: • Rape in the second degree, a class D felony. • Sexual abuse in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Dunn's arrest stems from an investigation where troopers said he was engaging in a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old victim.

Dunn was processed on the above charges in the Town of Veteran Court before being taken to the Chemung County Jail on $50,000 bail and $100,000 bond.

The investigation into this matter is ongoing, according to New York State Police.
