JetBlue released a statement on Friday after one of its planes damaged a window in the terminal at Richmond International Airport.

According to the statement, during a pushback on Thursday of JetBlue flight 1282 from Richmond to Boston, the airplane's wingtip made contact with a terminal window.

There were no reported injuries, and the flight returned to its gate. Another plane operated the flight to Boston.

"Safety is our number one priority, and we will be conducting a full investigation with all relevant parties to understand how this occurred," JetBlue Corporate Communications said.
