CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Businesses in the Flats are gearing up for another weekend, five days after from a mass shooting outside one of the bars in the area.

“We know that people in the general public know that it’s kind of an isolated incident, and they’re going to come down and enjoy the east bank of the flats regardless,” said Collision Bend Brewing Company operating partner Michael Grano. “Just like every city has some random acts of violence like that, and I just know that it is not a consistent thing down here.”

Six people , including the suspect, were shot outside of Play Bar and Grill Sunday evening.

Days later, places like Collision are emphasizing the security in the area for people looking to get out in the nice weather.
