Grandview Vineyard is planning a party around the release of its top-of-the-line wine.

The release party and wine pairing celebration for the Grandview Grande Rouge is scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Whisk Café, Elizabethtown.

Grande Rouge is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

Per the winemaker’s notes: This wine showcases bold, dark fruit flavors of black cherry and ripe plum, complemented by a subtle hint of pepper and spice. Well-integrated toasted oak adds depth, while the smooth, elegant tannins provide a refined finish. Aged for 21 months in French oak barrels, followed by an additional year of bottle aging, this wine is a versatile delight—perfect for savoring on its own or paired with a variety of dishes.
