The Forest Acres Police Department (FAPD) announced today that it has arrested two 17-year-old males in connection with a shooting that took place at The Landings Apartments on Sept. 11.

According to the FAPD, Jaylon D. Holmes and Wendell Hosea Holmes have each been charged as adults with Attempted Murder and Possession of a Deadly Weapon During a Violent Crime. Both are currently in custody at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

The FAPD indicated in a press release that it received a 911 call reporting a shooting at The Landings Apartments on Covenant Rd. at 7:26 p.m. on Sept. 11. When officers arrived on the scene at 7:29 p.m. they discovered an adult male that had been shot four times outside of his apartment.
