FOREST ACRES, S.C. — Authorities have arrested two teens in connection with a shooting in Forest Acres that happened on Thursday night.
The Forest Acres Police Department identified the teens as Jaylon D. Holmes and Wendell Hosea Holmes, both 17 years old. Both were charged with attempted murder and possession of a deadly weapon during a violent crime following a shooting that happened at the Landings Apartments on Covenant Road around 7:30 p.m.
Forest Acres officials said officers were called to the area and arrived within minutes to what they described as a chaotic scene. They found a man who had been shot four times outside his apartment. They also learned from a witness that the suspects had run in different directions, which led the police to establish a perimeter. A tip nearly an
