A multi-branch action was needed by RCMP to track down a wanted man Thursday in Taylor, B.C.

Backed up by a tactical armoured vehicle and armed with a Feeney warrant — a judge-authorized warrant allowing police to enter a residence or business to make an arrest — a cadre of RCMP officers, including the Fort St. John street enforcement team, police dogs, emergency response team and Fort St. John front-line members stormed a residence in Fort St. John on Thursday morning with the intention of arresting 39-year-old Johnathon Michael Peters.

Peters, who was wanted on warrants for uttering threats, mischief over $5,000, refusal to provide a sample, obstructing a peace officer and breach of release order, wasn’t found at the residence, but additional information indicated he could be in Taylor
