The Boston Celtics have been busy this offseason, and while much has been made of the players they have lost over the past few months, one guy they did manage to bring to town is guard Anfernee Simons .

Coming back from the Portland Trail Blazers as part of the Jrue Holiday trade, Simons is a skilled scorer who figures to help replace the scoring output that will be missing during Jayson Tatum’s absence due to a torn Achilles tendon. Last season, Simons averaged 19.3 points, 4.8 assists and 2.7 rebounds per game for the Trail Blazers.

With the Celtics continuing to explore avenues for potential salary cap cuts, Simons has seen his name pop up in trade rumors from the moment he landed with his new team. To this point, though, no such deal has materialized.
