Safety remains top of mind for attendees following a nearby shooting that caused a stir last year.
The incident happened across the street on Harrison Avenue in 2024, prompting Dent Schoolhouse to suspend operations.
Although it did not occur on the property, the chaos startled many guests in attendance.
“I remember being down the street parking and everybody running towards their cars,” said Tonya Gregory, a parent and visitor to the haunted house. “It was scary.”
