LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Police Department is investigating a sexual assault that reportedly happened at a residence hall on Saturday.

The sexual assault was reported to campus police on Friday.

According to UNLPD, the sexual assault happened at Massengale, an East Campus residence hall, between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

The victim said the suspect was familiar to them and described them as a 21-year-old man with brown hair and brown eyes. The investigation is ongoing.
