BARROW COUNTY, Ga. — An Apalachee High School student was arrested on Friday after allegedly making a threat, according to a letter sent out to parents by the principal.
Principal Jessica Rehberg sent the letter out to parents on Friday, saying that the student was taken into custody after an "investigation concerning a threatening remark." School Resource Officers immediately responded to the concern, Rehberg said.
"Our students must understand that words have consequences, and we will work with the Barrow County Sheriff's Office however is necessary for the safety and security of our school," Rehberg said in the letter.
